Northwest gas prices remain above national average

BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $3.80.

That’s down a penny in a week. It’s 11 cents higher than the national average.

Some metro prices from today’s AAA survey: Bellingham $3.94, Bremerton $3.87, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $3.88, Tacoma $3.86, Olympia $3.88, Vancouver $3.82, Yakima $3.66, Tri-Cities $3.56, and Spokane $3.48.

AAA reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Oregon is $3.78.

That’s down two cents in a week and nine cents higher than the national average.

Some metro prices from today’s survey: Portland $3.77, Salem $3.78, Eugene-Springfield $3.84 and Medford $3.82.
