Theft and vandalism reports were filed Wednesday and today unless otherwise noted.

Thefts, Burglaries

WW County Sheriff

  • 7600 block of Frog Hollow Road, Touchet. A 42-year-old woman reported a package containing a college culinary arts textbook, valued at $77, was stolen.

Umatilla County Sheriff

  • 53000 block of Appleton Road, Milton-Freewater. Report of vehicle prowl. Items listed as missing include a wallet with $400 cash, identification and social security card, and an iPod dock.
  • 1500 block of North Elizabeth Street. PlayStation 3 reportedly stolen.


WW Police

  • Myra Road near Pine Street, 10:22 a.m., Wednesday. Single vehicle crash: Alan Lawrence, 59, suffered internal injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.


MF Police

  • Marie Dorian Park, Milton-Freewater. Graffiti.
  • 100 block of Dehaven Street. Window reportedly shot with a BB gun.
  • Southwest Third Avenue and South Main Street. Damage reported to abandoned house.


WW Police

  • Blue Ridge School, 1150 W. Chestnut St. A father reported his 5-year-old son has been the victim of a school bully that grabbed his son’s crotch on the playground, according to police.

Umatilla County Sheriff

  • 51000 block of HIghway 332, Milton-Freewater. A 34-year-old man was bitten after he attempted to break up two fighting dogs.
