Two Walla Walla restaurants are putting their money where your mouths are.

In a fundraiser for the Walla Walla Fire Department Benevolent Fund, the restaurants will dedicate a portion of their earnings during the first four days of Apirl.

Red Monkey Downtown Lounge, 25 W. Alder St., and South Fork Grill, 1129 S. Second Ave., are partnering for the project. Between April 1 and 4, both eateries will give 15 percent of their pre-taxed sales to the fire department.

“We wanted to give something back to a part of the community that does so much to help us,” said Red Monkey owner Juston Watson, in a prepared statement.

Both dining rooms will donate from every sale in which a customer shows the special coupon for the fundraiser. Coupons can be printed off or displayed on a smartphone. You can download the coupon, and view more information on both eateries, at their respective Facebook pages.

For more details, call Red Monkey at 522-3865 or South Fork Grill at 522-4777.
