WALLA WALLA — “The Diary of Anne Frank,” by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, will begin its run April 5 at The Little Theatre of Walla Walla, 1130 E. Sumach St.
The opening coincides with the national Holocaust Remembrance Day or Yom Hashoa, established by U.S. Congress.
The play, co-directed by Cheryl Sutlick and Robert G. Randall and adapted by Wendy Kesselman, includes newly discovered writings by Anne Frank. The play includes survivor accounts, interwoven to create a contemporary story of the lives of people persecuted under Nazi rule.
Performance times and dates are 8 p.m. April 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 and 2 p.m. April 14.
