Owners of Walla Walla’s new frozen yogurt shop have grape expectations for the weekend’s grand opening.

Sour Grape Frozen Yogurt had its soft opening Wednesday at 1619 Isaacs Ave.

Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the business operates 10 a.m.-10 p.m. every other day of the week, except for Fridays and Saturdays when it operates until 11 p.m.

Owners Chris and Brooke Johnson plan a grand-opening celebration Saturday with concert tickets, a Razor scooter, gift cards and food up for grabs.

Sour Grape, refashioned in a major reconstruction of a long-empty building next to Coffee Cravings, has 10 flavors offered by the cup and cone, with an array of optional, self-serve toppings.

The Grape to Go mobile frozen yogurt trailer will also be set up at Walla Walla Sweets baseball home games and is available for special events.

A purple and green color scheme runs through the building with concrete floor, modern tables and chairs and patio. Parking is behind the building, with entry off Isaacs Avenue. For more information call 529-2027.
