A 54-year-old man was taken to a local hospital for leg pain after he was struck by a motorist while crossing the street near Main and Colville streets.

A 20-year-old man reported he and several friends detained a man they saw leaving an apartment that belonged to a woman with two children. The suspect attempted to run away when the young men confronted him about his suspicious behavior. When police questioned the 26-year-old woman living in the apartment south of Walla Walla, she identified the “suspect” as her 28-year-old boyfriend. The paramour told officers he attempted to run because he didn’t want his wife to know where he was.
A telescope, tow chain, jewelry and a battery charger was reported stolen from the 100 block of Cherry Street.
A construction trailer was reportedly broken into in the 100 block of West Chestnut Street. Power tools were missing.
Cell phone reportedly stolen in the 600 block of Railex Road.
Burglary reported in the 100 block of Southeast 10th St. Nothing reportedly stolen.
A fight reported in the 500 block of North Main street.
A concerned citizen reported a loud altercation in the 1500 block of North Columbia Street in Milton-Freewater appeared to be about to escalate to a brawl.
A motorist reportedly drove off without paying for $20 of gasoline at Wayside Market in Milton-Freewater.
Residential burglary reported on Sunquist Road, Milton-Freewater. Nothing reported stolen.
