EXECUTIVE SESSION: Meet in executive session with Gayle Fleming at 9 a.m.

NEW BUSINESS: Meet with John Gates and Butch Lowe, sign revised juvenile detention agreement.


When: Monday and Tuesday. Monday meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. and recesses at noon. Afternoon session begins at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday workshop begins at 9 a.m.

travel: Presentation by Michael Bates, court services-juvenile justice center director, on request to approve out-of-state travel for members of newly established Family Treatment Court Team to attend drug court conference sponsored by the National Association of Drug Court Professionals in Washington D.C.

youth center: Presentation by Steve Moss, Blue Mountain Action Council, on grant funds available for planning of possible feasibility study for a multi-purpose youth services center to include a youth homeless shelter.


work session: Reports and miscellaneous items. No formal action scheduled.


When: 7 p.m. Monday.

Where: College Place City Hall, 625 S. College Ave.

vacation: Approve vacation of a portion of Birch Avenue between Whitman Drive and Second Street. Vacation requested by College Place Public School District as part of process to redevelop Davis Elementary School.

playground: Approve master agreement with College Place Public School District for joint use of a portion of Kiwanis Park by Davis Elementary School.

junk vehicles: Repeal previous ordinance and approve new ordinance to streamline city codes regarding towing and impoundment of abandoned, unauthorized and junk vehicles.

parking: Approve ordinance establishing regulations for stopping, standing and parking in city.

willis plat: Approve final plat for Willis’ Second Addition, a five-lot subdivision at the northwest corner of Northeast C Street and Northeast Lambert Avenue.

discussion: Discussion of City Council vacancy and appointment process.

Dayton City Council

When: 7 p.m. Monday.

City Hall Board Room, 111 S. First St., Dayton.

CONSENT: Approve claims, vouchers and payroll warrants.

REPORTS: Hear reports from committees and city officers.

NEW BUSINESS: Consider request from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office to use city park for Night Out event, consider adopting resolution 1225 to implement a special events application process.
