PENDLETON — The Living Culture Village at the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute, 47106 Wildhorse Blvd., will open May 25.
On Saturdays, for the price of admission to the museum, visitors can also visit the village, which will be open every Saturday through Aug. 31.
There will be replicas of traditional and prehistoric structures the Plateau Indian people used and storytelling, games and other village pursuits for interaction.
Cultural activities and events planned for over the summer.
On May 25 putting up a teepee will be demonstrated. On Saturdays through August there will be activities such as games, first contact, foods, visual arts and exploring the tribal past through re-enactions, horses and regalia, stories, and artifacts.
