MILTON-FREEWATER — The Milton-Freewater P.E.O., Chapter AP, is hosting its second annual golf tournament at the Milton-Freewater Golf Course on June 8. Proceeds benefit scholarships for local women.
The two-person, modified-alternate shot tourney gets under way at 11 a.m. The entry fee is $50 per person, which includes green fees and dinner at Watermill Winery, also in Milton-Freewater. Entry deadline is June 6. Additional dinner tickets are available for $10. Watermill Wine and Blue Mountain Cider will be available for purchase at the dinner.
The tournament includes men’s, women’s and mixed divisions and prizes, including local wines and rounds of golf, for long putt and closest to the pin. There are a limited number of golf cart rentals by reservation.
For more information or registration, contact George Gillette at 541-938-7284 or stop by the pro shop at the course.
