DAYTON — Dayton’s soccer season came to an end with a 1-0 playoff loss to Valley Christian here Saturday.
Valley Christian was the No. 2 seed from the Spokane region, and ranked in the top 10 in the state, and scored the winning goal in the final minute of the game.
“Dayton played a great game,” Bulldogs coach David Frame said. “While the season has ended for the Bulldogs, the future looks bright for the program. Eight starters will return next season.
“The loss after a tremendous effort will be a motivator for next season.”
