Criminal cases

Tyler J. Walters, 26, 520 S. Sec- ond Ave., No. 1, was charged Oct. 28 with residential burglary, second- degree possessing stolen property and with forgery. Walters is accused of unlawfully entering or remaining in a dwelling with the intent to com- mit a crime; knowingly receiving, possessing, retaining, concealing or disposing of a stolen check; and falsely making, completing, alter- ing, possessing, uttering, offering, disposing of or putting off as true a forged check on Oct. 25.

Chad L. Clifton, 31, no permanent address listed, was charged Oct.

28 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Clifton is accused of possessing heroin on June 23.

Miguel A. Reyes Jr., 20, address not confirmed, was charged Oct.

28 with harassment — domestic violence and with resisting arrest. Reyes is accused of knowingly

and unlawfully threatening to kill a person, and intentionally preventing or attempting to prevent a peace officer from lawfully arresting him on Oct. 27.

Cesar E. Ruiz, 28, 208 Cruthers St., was charged Oct. 31 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and one count of obstructing a law enforce- ment officer. Ruiz is accused of pos- sessing methamphetamine; using drug paraphernalia; and willfully hindering, delaying and obstruct- ing a law enforcement officer in the discharge of his official powers and duties on Oct. 30.
