WALLA WALLA — Son Jack Jr. and the Delta Hothouse blues band out of Seattle will play 9 p.m. to midnight, Friday at Sapolil Cellars, 15 E. Main St.
The 2010 Washington Blues Society Best Traditional Blues Band winner, Son Jack Jr.’s Delta Hothouse brings a globally well-traveled Delta and Mississippi Hill Country sound back to Walla Walla.
The band opened for Chuck Berry in St. Louis in February, and in the past shared the stage with Charlie Musselwhite, Magic Slim, Coco Montoya, Sonny Landreth and Candye Kane.
Admission is $8 per person or two tickets for $15.
From 9 p.m.-midnight Saturday, Portland band Strangled Darlings will play inventive versions of alternative, doom and lit folk. The group has been touring around the Northwest.
