Indians fall to Colton in three sets

CLARKSTON — Touchet didn’t exit the Southeast 1B District volleyball tournament with the result it wanted here Wednesday, falling to Colton 25-10, 25-16, 25-14.

The Indians face St. John-Endicott, which lost to Tekoa-Oakesdale Wednesday night, at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Clarkston High gym.

“We certainly struggled tonight,” Touchet coach April Miller said after the match. “We need to bring our best onSaturday.”

CierraJo McKeown had four kills, five assists and a stuff block for the Indians.

Jennifer Aceves came up with nine digs.

“I’ve seen some great things from these girls,” Miller said. “I’d like to see it come together for them. They’re put in a lot of work this year.”
