CLARKSTON — The Touchet volleyball season came to an end Saturday as the Indians fell in straight sets to St. John-Endicott, 25-23, 25-6, 25-6 in the District 9 tournament.

Head coach April Miller credited her team for working hard, but the Eagles’ middle hitter found holes in the Indians’ defense.

“We had been struggling with our serves, but were much better tonight,” Miller said. “We worked hard and never gave up.

“That says a lot about this group of volleyball players,” Miller continued. “We will miss our seniors. It was a rough ending for our season, but they didn’t hold back. They put their all out there.”

Chelsea Dowty and Morgan Cardwell combined to go a perfect 12-of-12 at the service line. Harlie Schaeffer also went 6-for-6 serving with five digs and five assists. CierraJo McKeown came up with five kills and Jennifer Aceves added five digs.

Touchet finished the season sixth in the Southeast 2B division.
