Lillie Rice earns fifth accreditation


Lillie Rice Center has been awarded a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities for its community employment services.

This is the fifth consecutive accreditation from the commission, and assures the agency is meeting the highest quality standards and best practices in employment services for those with developmental disabilities, according to the announcement.

The nonprofit Lillie Rice Center, 2616 Isaacs Ave., provides employment support, job development and employment planning services for its clients.

Organizations that receive the three-year CARF accreditation demonstrate during on-site visits commitment to programs and services that are measurable, accountable and high quality. CARF is an independent nonprofit accrediting body aimed and quality, value and optimal service outcomes.

The Lillie Rice Center has been providing employment services in the Walla Walla area since 1966.
