Program provides assistance for power bills

WALLA WALLA — Pacific Power customers are invited to help their less fortunate neighbors stay warm this season by making a donation to Project HELP, a program administered locally through The Salvation Army to provide financial assistance for power bills.

Customers can either submit an extra check made out to Project HELP in the contribution envelope that will be included in November’s bill, or opt for a fixed donation program.

The latter allows customers to donate any dollar amount, starting as low as $1 per month. That amount is incorporated into their monthly bills throughout the year.

Customers who need bill assistance or those who want to sign up for the fixed donation program can call Pacific Power at 888-221-7070. Assistance with insulation and energy efficiency is available at
