I note again what I view as a copy error that should have been readily identified prior to the U-B going to press in the U-B. Regarding the article in the business section on Monday titled “Automatic cuts might bite more in 2014,” you fail to identify one person in the picture caption.
It says, “.... flanked by Senate Majority Whip Richard Durbin, D-Ill, left and Sen”
I do realize that Walla Walla is not a major metropolitan market, and that financial resources for our local paper are likely meager. Does the paper have spelling and grammar checking as is available with most Microsoft programs?
If not, isn’t there someone on your staff who would or could proofread your copy prior to publication.
Perhaps a Wa-Hi language arts teacher might consider taking on proof reading as a teaching tool?
