Information is compiled by the Union-Bulletin staff from the official logs and records of area law enforcement and emergency service agencies. Theft and vandalism reports were filed Wednesday and today unless otherwise noted.

Walla Walla

Residents of Grape Street reported six to eight people in a 2005 Chevrolet Imapla threw a beer bottle at another vehicle, smashing the rear window. The group left and returned a short while later, flashing gang signs and declaring gang affiliations.

A 30-year-old man went to Providence St. Mary Medical Center after being stabbed in the left shoulder while at Lions Park. The man identified his attacker, and said the 59-year-old man had stabbed him for no reason. The 30-year-old did not want to pursue charges, however.

A 22-year-old woman reported her bicycle was stolen while she was at the Walla Walla Public Library.

Vehicle prowl reported in the 900 block of Stadium Drive: nothing reported stolen.

Three blown-glass lawn ornaments reported stolen in the 1400 block of Jasper Street.

A Washington State Patrol car was vandalized in the Burger King parking lot. The estimated damage to the vehicle’s rear bumper was $1,000. Police are reviewing surveillance video.

Rear-end collision at Rose Street and Second Avenue: no injuries reported.

Two-vehicle collision reported on Chestnut Street and Third Avenue: minor injuries reported.

Prescription medications reported stolen in the 100 block of North Wilbur Avenue.

Walla Walla County

An abandoned vehicle was reported stolen from State Route 124 near milepost 13.


A 31-year-old woman struck a guard rail with her car while swerving to avoid a dog in the roadway on Buttercup Street.


Columbia High School officials reported a computer stolen. It was discovered missing during summer inventory checks, but school officials thought it might turn up when school started and did not report the theft until Wednesday.


A four-wheeler was reported stolen from the 84000 block of Roloff Lane.

A Yellowjacket Road woman reported her wedding ring was stolen.

Propane tanks and regulators reported stolen from the area near The Boatyard.

Umatilla County

An Athena resident called dispatch to report he was hearing voices telling him to break into stores.
