Walla Walla County
A vehicle pursuit occurred Thursday starting at 2:12 a.m. in the northern grounds of the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center and proceeding north on Avery Street, ending near Mill Creek in a wheat field. Two of the five occupants ran away. Arrested in a nearby greenhouse was Cesar A. German, 18. He was booked on investigation of criminal trespass. The other suspect was not found.
Two tires were reported slashed at the 00 block of SE 18th Avenue Wednesday overnight.
A two-vehicle, noninjury rear-end collision was reported Thursday 6:40 p.m., occurring at NW Eighth Avenue and Evans Street.
