The Walla Walla Sears Hometown Store is partnering with DeSales Catholic High School in a community pairing that benefits the Fighting Irish and fans.

The downtown Walla Walla retailer, 207 E. Main St., is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Sears Hometown Stores. The business, owned by Scott Hester, has made a contribution to the school. Additional contributions are available through a promotion called Touchdown Tuesday and Thursday.

Fans attending DeSales athletic events will receive a coupon that entitles them to a 5 percent discount on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Sears Hometown Store. Additionally the store will give the school 5 percent of the purchased amount. The offer started late August and runs through Nov. 14.

The Sears Hometown store offers appliances, tools, lawn and garden equipment, mattresses and more. Online orders for products not available in-store are shipped here free.
