WALLA WALLA — The Walla Walla High School volleyball team is sponsoring PINK NIGHT to support breast cancer awareness when the Blue Devils host Richland on Oct. 22.

Freshmen, sophomore and junior varsity teams all play at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity team plays at 7 p.m.

PINK items, such as beads, pins, pom poms and more, will be sold at the game. Players are selling PINK T-shirts, with orders being taken until Wednesday.

“Find your favorite player and help support the cause by purchasing a shirt from them,” said volunteer Karen Carman.

T-shirts are also available at the Wa-Hi ASB office and at the game. All proceeds go to St. Mary Medical Center Breast Cancer Special Needs Fund.

“And don’t forget to wear pink,” said Carman. “Let’s dig pink for a cure together!”
