Deputies arrested a 13-year-old boy for stealing $59 from a Valley Transit Bus while the driver was assisting the teen’s grandmother.
A 13-year-old boy was treated at Providence St. Mary Medical Center after he was shot in the eye with a BB gun. According to the teen, he was setting up tin cans for target practice when his 1-year-old cousin grabbed the BB rifle, causing it to fire.
A Sheriff’s Office deputy seized a 9 mm handgun after the owner decided to conduct late-night target practice on Sandpit Road near Touchet Gardena Road. The shooter had reportedly fired 10 rounds from the middle of the roadway into a nearby hill to test his recently purchased pistol.
