Oregon East Symphony opens its 28th season on Saturday

PENDLETON — The Oregon East Symphony’s 28th season opens Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Pendleton’s Vert Auditorium, 480 S.W. Dorian St.

OES Music director and conductor Beau Benson will return to conduct. In addition to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major “Eroica,” Op. 55, the orchestra will perform Hebrides Overture “Fingal’s Cave”, Op. 26, by Felix Mendelssohn and Siegfried Idyll by Richard Wagner. A reception follows the concert.
