On Oct. 5, 2013, John W. Jones (Jack) passed away suddenly in Seattle. Jack was born in South Dakota to Colleen and Rex Jones, moved to Walla Walla as a young boy, and graduated from DeSales High School. He lived in Seattle with his wife Rosemary (Doocy) of 44 years.
Jack worked as a union electrician in the greater Seattle area for over 45 years. He enjoyed many things, including motorcycles, photography, camping, boating, fishing, cruising, remodeling the house room by room, cheering on his great niece and nephew in sports and spending time at Tulalip Casino with his wife, family and friends.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Janelle Jones; his sister, Mary Kay Anderson; and his brother, Tom Jones.
A celebration of Jack’s life is planned for Oct. 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Seattle. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blessed Sacrament Church in Seattle or online to the Seattle Fire Department Medic One at https://wald1.seattle.gov/fire/donations/donate.aspx
