WALLA WALLA — Applicants are being sought of an opening on the Walla Walla County Rural Library Board of Trustees.
The vacancy was caused by the death of trustee Carol Peterson in August. Her successor would will fill out the remainder of her term, which expires Jan. 1, 2017.
The board meets at 5 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at various district locations in the county to review library operations, authorize actions and conduct other business. Information on the district is available at www.wwrurallibrary.com.
