Walla Walla

Police arrested a 35-year-old man after he waved a 12-inch kitchen knife while calling on bystanders at Jack in the Box to fight him after he was kicked out of the restaurant for “trying to provoke problems.” He was arrested on investigation of unlawful display of a weapon after witnesses flagged down a police officer.

A 65-year-old woman spotted a man attempting to force his girlfriend into his car during a dispute. The 65-year-old intervened and the 48-year-old man eventually left. He was arrested a short time later for investigation of two counts of fourth degree assault.

A debit card and $90 in cash reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of Edith Avenue.

Two-vehicle collision at Summach and Park streets: no injuries reported.

Police arrested a 22-year-old man after he reportedly assaulted his girlfriend.

A Burbank man reported three forged checks used at Super One Foods. The value of groceries bought the checks was $469.

Rear end collision in the 00 block of North Wilbur: a 35-year-old motorist complained of neck pain.

Walla Walla County

Sycamore limbs to be used for firewood reportedly stolen from a yard in the 4100 block of Old Milton Highway.

Three-vehicle rear end collision on Fishhook Park Road: two motorists cited for following too closely.

A Kindle stolen in the 1700 block of Southeast Meadowbrook Boulevard.

Fuse box damaged at Lion’s Park.


Two registered bulldog puppies, valued at $2,800 each, reportedly stolen from a yard in the 27000 block of Ice Harbor Drive.

A wallet reportedly stolen from Sun Mart


Android smartphone reportedly stolen at the Masonic Lodge.

Women’s bathroom padlock reportedly damaged at Freewater Park.
