Tri-Cities Prep downs DeSales

PASCO — The DeSales volleyball team dropped a Southeast 2B League match to Tri-Cities Prep in four sets Tuesday.

DeSales (2-6) head coach Hailee Rogers said her team worked hard, but simply could not get past the Jaguars.

Tri-Cities Prep won, 25-14, 23-25, 30-28, 25-18.

“I was extremely proud of how the girls battled tonight,” Rogers said. “It was an exciting game and the girls did a great job. It was great for them to see what they are capable of.”

Renee Roach led the Irish with 23 digs. Teresa Acock added 13 digs and Stacia Deal added 10 of her own, to go along with 18-of-18 serving.

Alyssa James and Claire Conley each racked up eight kills, as Conley also finished with 10 digs and four blocks. Hannah Leahy came up with four kills and 15 digs. Allesyn Lyons led the Irish with 19 assists.

DeSales hosts Dayton Thursday.
