Timothy A. Beasley, 54, Arizona, was sentenced Oct. 9 on one count each second-degree burglary and third-degree malicious mischief. The court dismissed two other counts. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 30 days in the county jail, credit for 29 days served. On Oct. 7 Beasley pleaded guilty to the charges by agreeing that the court may review the police reports and/or the statement of probably cause provided by the prosecuting attorney to establish a factual basis of the plea.
Richard W. Perez, 26, 216 N. Touchet St., was sentenced Oct. 10 on one count violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $42 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $250 drug enforcement fund, $100 biological fee, 181 days in the county jail, credit for three days served, 12 months community custody. On Oct. 7 Perez pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine on Sept. 9.
Steven J. Caldwell, 20, 505 Newell St., was charged Oct. 21 with escape from community custody. Caldwell is accused of willfully discontinuing making himself available to the Department of Corrections for supervision between Aug. 2 and 29.
Skyler T. Hurt-Wheeler, 17, Milton-Freewater, was sentenced Oct. 4 on one count fourth-degree assault. The sentence included 10 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Sept. 20 Hurt-Wheeler pleaded guilty to assaulting another person under circumstances not amounting to assault in the first-, second-, third-degree or custodial assault on June 3, 2012.
