You may not recognize your favorite vendors from the Downtown Farmers Market this weekend.
In honor of Halloween vendors will don costumes in a festive celebration that also marks the end of the season, said Manager Cheryl Thyken.
Saturday and Sunday’s markets, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Fourth Avenue and Main Street, will be the last for the year, with one exception. A holiday market will make its return Dec. 7, Thyken said.
This weekend’s wrap-up promises food, artisan crafts and fall produce, including plenty of pumpkins and gourds. Visitors are encouraged to wear costumes, too. Music by the Touchet Band will be performed live Saturday.
