ST. JOHN — The St. John-Endicott volleyball team had no issues with Touchet, as the Eagles took care of business in straight sets, 25-9, 25-12, 25-22, Thursday.

Touchet (2-9, 1-6) head coach April Miller said it took her team a while to get warmed up, as the Eagles took advantage of the Indians’ miscues early.

“They have tough servers and hit the ball well,” Miller said. “We are in a tough league. We are continuing to improve, especially with our younger players. We miss too many serves, though. That hurts.”

Morgan Cardwell and Kylie Maycumber combined to go 16-of-16 serving with two aces each. Maycumber also added eight digs.

CierraJo McKeown came up with four kills, four assists and two blocks for the Indians.

The Indians host Liberty Christian Tuesday.
