Service for those with psychological disorders to open

A new service for those suffering from psychological disorders will open in Walla Walla late this week.

Reliance Health Systems, a service based at the Eden Medical Center in Richland, will launch NeuroPsych starting Friday.

The service will operate on the second floor of Walla Walla’s U.S. Postal Service building, 128 N. Second Ave., in suite 209.

The NeuroPsych Program was established in 2007 as a nonprofit agency providing care under the core values of integrity, collaboration, service, respect and protection, according to an announcement.

The new location is designed to better serve Walla Walla clients by reducing travel costs, avoiding winter commutes and providing an opportunity for family involvement in treatment, said Chief Executive Officer Kishore Varada in the release.

Staff members providing services represent multiple disciplines of clinical social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy.

“We want to continue to provide excellent customer service to our existing patients at both locations,” Varada said. “We receive outstanding feedback from our patients in regards to the quality, caring and respectful provision of our services.”

New patients are being accepted. For more information call 525-1725.
