Walla Walla dentist office to offer candy 'buyback'

Teeth or treats?

Walla Walla Dental Group is offering a Halloween Candy Buy Back Program that has dual rewards.

Kids who “sell” their candy back will get a gift card to a local toy store, while U.S. troops overseas will benefit from the treats in holiday gifts.

The three practices — Enhanced Dental Care, Stone Creek Dental Care and Walla Walla Dental Care — the partner in the operation at 2014 S. Howard St. will trade $5 gift cards to downtown Walla Walla toy store Inland Octopus in exchange for 1 or more pounds of candy. The treats that are collected will be used in Christmas stockings the practices will send overseas to U.S. Military troops.

Incidentally, Walla Walla Dental Group will also accept donations of stockings, toiletries, snack items, gift cards, books and games, phone cards, winter hats and more. Kids and other donors will be invited to fill out holiday greeting cards to accompany the stockings. For more details, visit ay of the three practices on Facebook.
