MILTON-FREEEWATER — The Milton-Freewater Municipal Golf Course will be closed Monday when the course’s greens will be plugged and top dressed, M-F golf pro George Gillette said.
Players are encouraged to call Tuesday morning for available tee times on the front nine holes, which will be open to play at some point in the day. The back nine will remain closed all day Tuesday, Gillette said.
“By Wednesday we should be up and going again,” Gillette said. “That’s weather permitting, of course, and that we don’t get any more tornadoes. We lost a few trees during Thursday’s storm.”
