Acupuncturist to hold open house at new practice


A Walla Walla acupuncturist will give the public a chance to poke around her new operation.

Lindsey Thompson of Thompson Family Acupuncture will host a daylong open house Thursday.

The event runs 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at 120 E. Birch St., suite 8.

The open house will feature hourly drawings for door prizes, including gift certificates for acupuncture visits, foam rollers and herbal consultations. The grand prize will be a series of six acupuncture visits valued at $415. That prize will be drawn at the end of the event. The winner need not be present.

Moreover, the open house will be a chance to meet Thompson, an East Asian Medicine Practitioner who spent last winter volunteering her services in rural Nepal. Thompson will be available to answer questions about how acupuncture, cupping, guasha and East Asian nutrition counseling, and share stories of her clinical work abroad.
