The exchange has been made.
Walla Walla’s independent retailer for gently-used music and movies is under new ownership and management in Eastgate.
CD Exchange has changed hands. Jim and Katherine Yeager, owners of the Melrose St. business since 1999, sold the operation in May to Aurora Pryne and her son, Thor. They are now open for business in the same location — 2200 E. Melrose St., next to The Modern Restaurant and Tatmandu — according to an announcement.
The shop features quality used CDs, vinyl records, DVD and VHS movies, books, cassettes, 8-track tapes, games and other items such as posters, bags, journals, incense and more. Special orders are accepted. The new owners also offer a disc-cleaning service, restoring damaged discs.
New hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from around noon to 6 p.m.
