Walla Walla

Police arrested a 23-year-old man for attempting to steal a longboard from a vehicle near Third Avenue and Alder Street while the driver was still in the car.

A Premier Excavation pickup truck was reportedly stolen.

Walla Walla County

Thieves reportedly stole 140 feet of copper wire causing and estimated $10,000 to irrigation equipment near Casey and Ayers roads.

Attempted mail tampering reported on Van Ausdale Lane.

Tool boxes, power tools and 34 fishing poles reportedly stolen in the 4400 block of Larson Drive.

Deputies arrested a 15-year-old boy at a relative’s home after he escaped from a Juvenile Justice Center work crew in Walla Walla.


A Milton-Freewater man reported his aunt had used money from his deceased father’s bank account.

A concerned citizen reported a man and woman attempted to sell him a set of digital micrometers, which he believes may have been stolen.
