The family lived in the Palouse area and in 1926, moved to the Tum-A-Lum area to be close to schools. She attended local schools and graduated from the Walla Walla Business College as an accountant.

Alice’s family wishes to give these fine ladies special acknowledgement and sincere thanks for the excellent love and care they provided for both Alice and George. Their kindness will never be forgotten.
Alice enjoyed life to the fullest and loved her home and cabin in the Blue Mountains. She always called Oregon “God’s Country.” She loved a good joke and her motto was that everyone needs a good belly laugh once a day. She loved her family and friends and will be missed greatly by all.
