budget: Public hearing to consider amendments to 2013 county budget. Action on item may follow.

fairgrounds: Possible discussion and decision on appointments to the Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days board of directors. (Item postponed from last week).

marijuana: Continuation of public hearing on adoption of interim regulations or a moratorium on zoning and development permits for marijuana growing, processing and retail operations. Possible action on item to follow. Matter scheduled to come before commission at 10 a.m.


sheriff: Workshop with Sheriff John Turner on proposed ordinance to create criminal penalties for willfully or maliciously interfering with a police dog.

A-W School Board

When: Monday, 7 p.m.

Where: Weston-McEwen High School Library.

BAND TRIP: Hear report on W-M band trip to New York.

SUPERINTENDENT: Superintendent Jerry Copeland to give reports on teacher advancement/salary schedule and enrollment.

NEW BOARD MEMBER: Interview candidates for at-large board position to replace vacant Zone 7 position. Candidates are Robert Moore and Marty Graham. Board will appoint new member.

ACTION ITEMS: Approve board and superintendent goals, approve surplus equipment list.

POLICIES: Consider 15 different policies relating to employment, leave, students with disabilities, academic achievement, students with HIV/AIDS, reporting requirements regarding sexual conduct with students, personally identifiable information.

OTHER ITEMS: Hear reports on district elementary schools, Weston Middle School’s curriculum, W-M student representative.

Port of Walla Walla

When: Monday, 6 p.m.

Where: Port of Walla Walla administrative office, 310 A St.

cavu cellars: Receive an update on flood damage at Cavu Cellars.

dodd Road Industrial Park: Consider authorizing a request for proposals for casing projects.

burbank buSiness park: Conduct a planning session for work at the Port’s Burbank Business Park, where the agency is working on a massive sewer project that includes running a pipeline under the Snake River and pumping sewage into Pasco for treatment.
