Christopher T. Smith, 43, 612 S. 12th Ave., was charged Sept. 10 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Smith is accused of possessing methamphetamine on Sept. 9.

Richard W. Perez, 26, 216 N. Touchet St., was charged Sept. 10 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and third-degree escape. Perez is accused of possessing methamphetamine and escaping from the custody of the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 9.

Adele A. McKinnon, 25, Dayton, was sentenced Sept. 9 on one count first-degree theft with intent to resell. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 30 days in the county jail, credit for 27 days served, 12 months community custody. On Aug. 26 McKinnon pleaded guilty to committing a theft from Home Depot with intent to resell the stolen items as she is addicted to drugs and did steal to continue her habit.

Robert L. Stacy, 48, 640 Rocky Road, was sentenced Sept. 9 on one count violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 crime lab and biological fee, six months and one day in the county jail, credit for 21 days served, 12 months community custody. On Aug. 26 Stacy pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine on July 30.
