Children to make Warhol-style posters at cultural institute

PENDLETON — A special program for children to make an Andy Warhol-style poster will be 1-4 p.m. Sept. 28 at Tamástslikt Cultural Institute, 47106 Wildhorse Blvd.

Children can bring a favorite photo of a friend, a toy, a pet, or a photo of themselves and turn it into a Warhol-style poster. Photos will be provided for those who do not have a photo.

No special artistic skills are required and each child will leave with a hand painted “Warhol” masterpiece.

This program is presented in conjunction with Tamastslikt’s current exhibit, “Andy Warhol: Cowboys & Indians.”

The program is free. Complimentary refreshments will be served. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
