The neighborhood actors of the Double B Acting Troupe recently performed “The Three Little Hogs.”
An audience of family, neighbors and friends donated $164.50 to the Sharpstein School actors, who raised enough proceeds to buy 10 bags for the Books for Babes program.
Troupe members are Taliia, Stella, Lucy and Kia Billingsley and Noah and Sylvia Bruce. During the summer, troupe members produced props, scenery and costumes and ran lines, jokes and songs, according to Books for Babes Coordinator Kay Barga in the Walla Walla Public Schools Week in Review online newsletter.
“Principal Matt Bona stated he and his family, ‘got our money’s worth’,” Kay said. “Fun was certainly had by all and plans are in the making for a holiday event!”
