Theft and vandalism reports were filed Saturday, Sunday and today unless otherwise noted.

Walla Walla

Graffiti reported on East Alder Street.

Tire slashed and car paint scratched in the 100 block of North Roosevelt Street.

Tire slashed in the 900 block of Figueroa Street.

College Place

Burglary in the 1400 block of Southeast Chickadee Lane.

A two-seat stroller reported stolen in the 100 block of South College Avenue.


Blankets, microwave, beds, silverware, dishes and a box of antlers stolen from a commercial building being used for storage in the 100 block of Main Street.


A mother reported a disturbance in her home after her 19-year-old son came home drunk. Police arrested the teen on investigation of minor consuming alcohol.

Umatilla County

Deputies arrested Thomas Nelson, 21, following a vehicle pursuit that began in Walla Walla County. Nelson fled into Oregon, pursued by Cheif Deputy John King of the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office. According to King’s report, Nelson crashed his 2005 Chevrolet Impala, then fled on foot, leaving a passenger at the scene. Maria Palomino, 33, was taken to a hospital following the collision. Nelson was arrested on investigation of felony attempt to elude, fourth-degree assault, reckless driving, two counts of reckless endangering, injury hit and run and fugitive from another state. Bail was set at $60,000.

Jimmy Nava, 943 Carrie Avenue, Sunday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

MF Police

Tony West, 55, Alabama, Sunday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Thomas L. Nelson, 21, Thursday. Charge: investigation of felony eluding.
