A vehicle hit a pedestrian on the 300 block of South Ninth Avenue Monday noon. The man, 43, who was struck reported only minor injuries and did not require medical transport.
A hit-and-run was reported at 150 S. Wilbur Ave. Monday 2 p.m. A witness saw a motorist attempt a U-turn in the apartment parking lot, strike a garage door and then leave the scene without stopping.
On Monday, a resident of the 53700 block of Appleton Road reported his dog, a male Australian blue-heeler shepherd, was stolen.
A resident of the 84800 block of Highway 11 reported an older blue Chevy pickup with a roll bar hit a 1987 F250 pickup and deliberately pushed it across a parking lot today at 2:43 a.m.
A resident of the 53300 block of West Ballou Road complained that he lent a book to a friend, but that friend returned it in a destroyed condition. The owner of the book now wants the friend to pay him $20, which is $5 more than what he originally paid for the book, because of the book’s sentimental value. The book was “The Zombie Survival Guide.”
