The Walla Walla Police Department and Integrus Architecture were recognized with a Merit Award in the Masonry Industry Promotions Group 2013 Excellence in Masonry awards program recently.
The 30,000-square-foot building off Moore Street provides “a warm and welcoming, yet sophisticated and secure facility,” according to a release on the awards.
Capt. Terry Heisey accepted the award on behalf of the Police Department during an event in Spokane. Project Manager Becky Barnhart and architect Rob Wiese accepted on behalf of Integrus Architecture.
The Masonry Industry Promotion Group was established in 1972 and is supported by Union signatory mason contractors. The excellence in masonry awards program is just one of the ways in which the group keeps masonry in the public eye.
