Stella E. Breshears

Walla Walla resident Stella E. Breshears, 99, passed

away September 21, 2013, at Park Manor Rehabilitation

Center in Walla Walla..

Stella was born July 5, 1914, in Bixby, Oklahoma, to

Watty and Elsie Grayson. She attended schools in Bixby.

She married Jack Weldon in 1930, and he died in 1954.

On September 10, 1956, Stella married S.L. Breshears.

He passed May 5, 1980. She moved to this area eighteen

years ago from Oklahoma.

Stella was a homemaker. She also enjoyed fishing,

hunting, knitting and crocheting. She did a lot of work

with the Foster Grandparents Group, was a member of

the Northside Seventh-day-Adventist Church and the

Muskogee Creek Indian Tribe.

Survivors are her daughter, Wanda L. Bell; two

grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one greatgreat-

grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She

was preceded in death by one sister and two husbands.

The memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday

September 27, 2013, at Northside Seventh-day-Adventist

Church, 1103 Dell Avenue, Walla Walla, Washington,

with Pastor Roger Johnson officiating.
