What better way to satisfy harvest hunger than with a pig roast among the grapes?

TERO Estates will open the winery at its historic Windrow Vineyard this Saturday for “Wine and Swine in the Vines.”

The event is a free party open to the public as a way to celebrate the release of the TERO Estates 2010 cabernet franc, 2010 Herb’s Block merlot, and the 2010 Windrow. A selection of Flying Trout and Waters wines will also be available.

The wine will be poured starting at 11 a.m., and the roast is at 1 p.m. at 52015 Seven Hills Road, Milton-Freewater.

Artist Todd Telander of Telander Art School and a soon-to-be-open gallery in downtown Walla Walla, will be painting plein air in the vineyard. Guests will have a chance to win the painting with the purchase of a $10 raffle ticket. A portion of those proceeds will benefit the Pioneer Park Aviary. For more details click here.
