WALLA WALLA — The DeSales volleyball team dropped a Southeast 2B Conference match to Tri-Cities Prep in straight sets here Thursday.

The Irish (1-2) lost 25-16, 25-12, 25-13, as head coach Hailee Rogers said DeSales had its hands full with the Jaguars.

“We struggled a bit tonight and had too many mental errors to beat a good team like Tri-Cities Prep,” Rogers said. “We just hit a bump, but I’m confident that we’ll overcome it and come out stronger.”

Teresa Acock and Allesyn Lyons each chipped in 10 digs for the Irish. Hannah Leahy led the team with three kills and also added seven digs.

Renee Roach did a little bit of everything for DeSales, as she had five digs, four assists and one kill.

DeSales plays at Dayton Tuesday.
