E.J. Meserve leads W-P at Inland Empire

LEWISTON, Idaho. — Waitsburg-Prescott competed in the Inland Empire Invite cross country meet here Saturday. Eleven teams ran, including Southeast 2B foe Asotin.

E.J. Meserve led W-P with a 23rd-place finish in 17:34. Freshman Kyle Gradwohl ran a 20:11.

“E.J. had a huge PR (personal record) and Kyle also ran a PR,” W-P coach Joanna Lanning said. “It was a great meet against excellent competition.”

W-P travels to the Gutbuster Invite in Milton-Freewater Oct. 11.
