Walla Walla

Police responded to reports of a baby crying at Super 8 Motel. The 2-year-old child had reportedly been left unattended for more than an hour by her 30-year-old mother.

A motorist backed into a vehicle stopped for traffic on East Main Street.

A man, who has a concealed carry license, displayed a handgun in self defense during a family argument in the 600 block of Washington Street. No charges pending.

Walla Walla County

A 14-foot flatbed trailer reported stolen from Macon Brothers Auction.


A Milton-Freewater woman reported a gas station attendant believes someone put sugar in her vehicle’s gasoline tank.

Vehicle prowl reported in the 100 block of South Columbia Street.

Attempted vehicle theft reported in the 100 block of South Columbia Street. The car’s ignition switch was reportedly damaged.

Padlock reportedly cut from a gate in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Vehicle prowls reported in the 00 block of Linden Drive.

Shoplifting reported at Safeway.


WW County Sheriff

Karl W.H. Millard, 28, Hermiston, Tuesday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.
