Walla Walla

A garage fire was reported 6:45 a.m. today at 504 Sturm Ave. No injuries were reported. Cause was listed as a heated sleeping pad for a dog.

A bicyclist reported he was struck by a motorist at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Second Avenue Thursday 4:15 p.m. The motorist made a right turn in front of the path of the bicyclist. The motorist failed to stop and identify himself. No medical transport was required.

A two-vehicle, noninjury collision Wednesday 2:43 p.m. at Second Avenue and Cherokee Street.

A two-vehicle, noninjury collision Thursday 8:04 p.m. on Poplar Street near Third Avenue occurred while one vehicle was changing lanes to pass.


A motorist parked on NE Fifth Avenue on Thursday reported a man came out of his residence and threw a rock a her vehicle, causing damage.

Umatilla County

A resident of the 53000 block of Appleton Road reported approximately 200 brass sprinkler heads stolen from an orchard.

A resident of the 53200 block of Triangle Road reported $100 worth of fence damaged by an unknown motorist.
